STEMVision
STEMVision was a user experience design project which I completed alongside some of my close friends in 2020. As a group, we were tasked to conduct an assessment of the Museum of Brisbane (MoB) and identify one specific visitor demographic that was not sufficiently engaged by the displays in front of them, and we identified that the most disengaged group were the 'learning family' consisting of parents with younger children.
It was clear that to effectively achieve the MoB's objective of educating visitors on Brisbane's history, the way in which information was conveyed to the younger generation had to be reimagined, and the design solution which we developed was STEMVision, an Augmented Reality application that uses mixed reality glasses to make the information come to life in front of the user.
The finalisation of this project involved conducting a 2 minute project pitch to a panel of faculty staff and stakeholders, and this was the promotional video which I shot, edited and produced to demonstrate how the Augmented Reality experience could look.
